Who is Kahlan? Richard knows, but no one else does, not ever Kahlan herself. As her captors continue to drag her about, Kahlan slowly learns small details about herself. The most frightening detail that she learns is: if she finds out who she is, she will become the most dangerous person alive. As for Richard, he continues his quest to understand Chainfire, battle the Sisters of the Dark, and all without bringing down the wrath of the Blood Beast upon himself.
