Ned Nalle

Executive Producer, "Legend of the Seeker"

Ned Nalle serves as executive producer of "Legend of the Seeker," the new first-run, live action epic fantasy series premiering the weekend of November 1st in national syndication.

In addition to "Legend of the Seeker," Nalle serves as consulting producer on the weekly magazine series "The MEN7 Show" for Bennett Productions, Los Angeles. He has several other projects in active network development.

From 2004-2006 as President of Alta Loma Entertainment, he developed and served as executive in charge of production on the popular "The Girls Next Door" series now in its third year on E! Entertainment Television. He also developed "Party @ the Palms" for E!; "Young Blades" for PAX/ion Networks; and several specials for A&E and Starz. In addition, Nalle designed and launched the 24-hour Playboy Radio Network on Sirius.

While President of Universal Worldwide Television, as part of a 25-year career at Universal Studios, Inc., Ned Nalle guided great creative talents to invent, sell and manage ground-breaking hits across all genres including action adventure ("Hercules: The Legendary Journeys," Xena: Warrior Princess"), reality ("Blind Date," "The 5th Wheel"), comedy ("Dream On"), documentary ("Dial H for Hitchcock," "Universal Horror", as well as over fifty made-for television movies (notably "James Joyce's Women," the ratings record setters "China Lake Murders," "Buried Alive" and "Captain Zoom"). In the talk show genre, Nalle developed the UK's ratings-leading "Trisha" (ITV, and now playing on Five). He was responsible for the daily Procter & Gamble German series "Vera Am Mittag," the Dutch P&G program "Catherine; Lenferink," plus the weekly "Blind Match." In the US, he supervised the make-over of "Jerry Springer" (leading to its five-fold ratings increase), "Maury Povich" and "Sally Jessy Raphael."

Nalle served on the board and was a member of the Executive Committee for USA Networks.

He and his wife Karen have three children and live in Los Angeles.
